The Practice of Choosing Gratitude
One day my kids were doing what I perceived to be an excessive amount of complaining. My remedy for the problem was to play the “Thankful Game”. The object of the game is to name as many things that you are thankful for in one minute as you can. The person with the longest list wins. In the end, they had so much fun they forgot their initial complaints
This single act demonstrated the power of gratitude. Just imagined if we lived our lives like this every day. Do you think we would have more joy, peace, and optimism for this life we are living? I do.
